• Please note: the total length of the skewer is always going to be longer than the dropout width of your bike/fork. It has to be long enough to go through two dropouts and still have enough threads on the other side for the nut. The easiest way of not making a mistake while purchasing skewers is to know your hub's specs. If you have a 100mm QR hub, buy a 100mm skewer, 135 for 135, 170 for 170, etc.
